Conference Championship Round:

Statline: 3 TKLS

The Philadelphia Eagles cruised to an easy 31-7 win over the San Francisco 49ers to head to the SuperBowl. Darius Slay Jr. and the Eagles defense had smooth sailing after both Niners QBs were injured during this game, leaving them with no viable option at the position. The All-Pro cornerback and the rest of the defense will have their hands full during the SuperBowl trying to stymie the most dangerous quarterback in the game in Patrick Mahomes.


Divisional Round:

Statline: 5 TKLS, 4 SOLO, 1 PASS DEF

Darius Slay Jr. and the Philadelphia Eagles defense had a dominant showing against the New York Giants in the Divisonal round, soundly defeating them 38-7. Pro Bowl/All Pro cornerback Darius Slay Jr. had 5 total tackles, including 4 solo tackles and 1 pass deflected against the Giants while making things incredibly difficult for Daniel Jones and his receivers throughout the entire game. Slay and the Eagles will look to continue their dominant season against a surging 49ers team in the NFC Championship Game next week.

Statline: DNP/Bye Week


Week 18:

Statline: 1 TKL, 1 SOLO

Darius Slay Jr. and the Philadelphia Eagles clinched the #1 seed in the NFC and secured a 1st week playoff bye in a win against the Giants, 22-16. The Giants, having secured their playoff spot decided to play their 3rd stringers who surprisingly put up quite a fight against the Philadelphia Eagles’ first unit. While things looked a bit shaky for the Eagles as quarterback Jalen Hurts returned from a prolonged absence, Slay and the Eagles were able to get the win and earn the right to relax for the first week in the playoffs.


Week 17:

Statline: 5 TKLS, 5 SOLO

Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay Jr. and the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the New Orleans Saints 20-10 in Week 17. The Eagles offense and defense got off to a slow start in this game as both sides of the ball were unable to get going until the second half. To the Eagles and Darius Slay Jr’s credit, they were able to hold the Saints scoreless in the 3rd quarter and only gave up 1 touchdown in the 2nd half of this game. Darius Slay and the Eagles will look to bounce back and cement their spot as the #1 seed against the New York Giants in Week 18.


Week 16:

Statline: 3 TKLS, 2 SOLO, 1 AST

Darius Slay Jr. and the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Dallas Cowboys in a tense divisional matchup which had the Eagles starting backup QB Gardner Minshew after a shoulder injury to Jalen Hurts in week 15. The Eagles secondary had trouble stopping the Dallas Cowboys’ receiving corps, with Cowboys WR Ceedee Lamb notching 120 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns against the Eagles. Darius Slay and the Eagles will look to bounce back and solidify their hold on the #1 seed in the NFC against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.



Week 15:

Statline: 3 TKL, 1 PASS DEF

All-pro cornerback Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Chicago Bears in week 15. Going into this game the Eagles had held the opposing team to 22 points or less in 11 of their 13 games played, and they were able to do it again only allowing 20 points to the Bears. Slay was able to add three tackles and a pass deflection to the team’s defensive statistics, and as a team the Eagles were able to force four fumbles. The Eagles were able to fend off the Bears and win the game 25-20. 


Week 14:

Statline: 4 TKLS, 2 PASS DEF

The Eagles and their cornerback Darius Slay took on the New York Giants in week 14 of NFL action. The Eagles boast one of the best defenses in the league and they were able to prove it once again this wee. The team came away with seven total sacks while Slay finished the game with four tackles and two pass deflections. They managed to hold the Giants to just 22 points while their own offense had themselves a day, as the Eagles went on to win 48-22. 


Week 13:

Statline: 2 TKLS

The Philadelphia Eagles' defense has been one of the best in the NFL this season, and they are led by ten-year veteran cornerback Darius Slay. Slay and the rest of the defense were able to hold the Tennessee Titans to only 209 total offensive yards and just ten points in their week 13 matchup. Slay was able to get two tackles while the rest of the defense managed to sack Titans’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill six times. This increased their season sack total to 42, second to only their NFC East rival the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles' offense thrived against the Titans as they won 35-10. 


Week 12:

Statline:  4 TKLS, 1 PASS DEF

The Philadelphia Eagles had the task of facing off against quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football in week 12. The game turned out to be a shootout early, but Eagles’ defensive leader Darius Slay was able to assist in holding Rodgers under 150 passing yards. Slay totaled four tackles and a pass deflection in the game, and the Eagles were able to intercept Rodgers twice. The Eagles improved to a league-leading 10-1 with the win over the Packers 40-33. 


Week 11:

Statline: 4 TKLS

Darius Slay has had a major impact on the Philadelphia Eagles defense this year, a defense that is one of the best in the league. Slay was able to come away from the game against the Indianapolis Colts in week 11 with four tackles, as they allowed their offense to score only 16 points. The Eagles defense is currently second in the league in opponents yards allowed per game with only 300.6 yards per game. Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Eagles, was able to run in for a touchdown in the final minutes of the game to put them on top, 17-16. 


Week 10:

Statline: 4 TKLS, 1 PASS DEF

Cornerback Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense leads the league in forced turnovers with 20. In their Monday Night Football matchup against the Washington Commanders they were able to force three turnovers, one interception and two fumbles. Slay was also able to add four tackles and a pass deflection to the team’s defensive stats. The Eagles were not able to stay undefeated as they lost to the Commanders 21-32. 


Week 9:

Statline: 4 TKLS

The Philadelphia Eagles and Darius Slay went down to Houston to play the Texans this week on Thursday Night Football. The Eagles' defense, led by Slay, were able to keep Texans’ quarterback Davis Mills to only 154 passing yards. Slay finished the game with four tackles, and the defense forced two turnovers, holding the Texans to under 20 points. The Eagles were able to win the game 29-17. 


Week 8:

Statline: 2 TKLS, 1 PASS DEF

Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles were able to remain undefeated as the defense shined and held the Pittsburgh Steelers to only one touchdown. Darius Slay was able to get two tackles and his eighth pass deflection of the year on Sunday against rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett and the Steelers. The Eagles were able to move to 7-0 on the season as they beat the Steelers 35-13.


Week 7:

Statline: BYE WEEK

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay is leading one of the best defenses in the NFL this year. During week 7 Slay was able to enjoy taking the week off with a much-needed bye. He mentioned in an interview that he is excited to get home to be with his family and watch his sons play in their own football games. Slay and the Eagles will look to get right back to where they left off, facing the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday, October 30th. 


Week 6:

Statline: 2 TKLS, 2 PASS DEF, 1 INT

Darius Slay once again leads the Philadelphia Eagles' defense to a win, this time against the Dallas Cowboys. Slay was able to pick off Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush for his third interception of the year which puts him tied for the second most in the NFL through six weeks. The interception came about halfway through the second quarter on a third-down play that the Cowboys were looking to convert. The Eagles held off the Cowboys' second-half comeback and won the game 26-17. 


Week 5:

Statline: 9 TKLS

Defensive back Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles defense were able to hold the Arizona Cardinals to only 17 points on Sunday. Slay recorded his season high in tackles with nine of them, only a week after having to leave a game early in the first half due to a forearm injury. The Eagles were able to beat the Cardinals 20-17. 


Week 4:

Statline: 0 TKLS

On Sunday, cornerback Darius Slay and the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Early in the game, Slay went to the locker room with what has now been confirmed as a forearm injury. Slay did not go back on the field for the rest of the game, but was with his team on the sideline. According to Ian Rappaport, the injury is not major, and Slay has a chance to play in his next game. The Eagles remain undefeated, beating the Jaguars 29-21.


Week 3: 

Statline: 1 TKL

The Philadelphia Eagles and cornerback Darius Slay took on the Washington Commanders on Sunday at FedEx field. Slay and the rest of the Eagles' defense only allowed for 6 offensive points to be scored, and they came at the very end of the game. Slay was able to record one solo tackle in the game as the Eagles beat the Commanders 24-8. 


Week 2: 

Statline: 1 TKL, 5 DEF, 2 INT

Darius Slay led the Philadelphia Eagles defense against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night with five pass deflections and two interceptions. His second pick of the night came late in the fourth quarter as he was guarding Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson. The Eagles went on to win the game 24-7.


Week 1:

Statline: 6 COMB, 4 SOLO, 2 AST

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay was targeted a game-high nine times on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, while only giving up a total of three catches. After the game on Sunday, Slay is on track to lead the Eagles’ secondary in coverage grade. Slay also finished the game with six solo tackles, as the Eagles went on to beat the Lions 38-35.
