With both Darius Slay and James Bradberry ranked among the top 15 players at their position, the Philadelphia Eagles boast a formidable cornerback duo that may be the most powerful in the league.

Off the field, Slay and Bradberry showcase contrasting personalities. Slay is known for his vocal and active presence on social media, while Bradberry prefers to keep a low profile. However, their divergent approaches do not hinder their ability to work together effectively, as they combine forces to create a dominant presence defensively.

Renowned publication "Pro Football Focus" recently unveiled its rankings of the top 32 cornerbacks in the league, with Slay securing an impressive third place and Bradberry showcasing exceptional coverage skills at the 13th spot.

While the Eagles may possess the most powerful cornerback coverage, the Buffalo Bills also field a strong duo in Trevon Diggs and Stephon Gilmore.

Slay continued his excellent form with the Eagles, allowing a mere 54.7% of passes thrown his way to be completed during the regular season. In the playoffs, he further tightened his coverage, surrendering less than 25 yards across all three of his games.

Bradberry, arriving from the struggling New York Giants defense, flourished alongside the Eagles' defensive force. He showcased his skills when it mattered most, allowing only 46.9% of passes thrown his way to be caught during the playoffs.

Although Pro Football Focus ranked defensive stars like Patrick Surtain, Jaire Alexander, and Marshon Lattimore ahead of Bradberry, there is ongoing debate regarding his deserving placement among these names.

Despite both Eagles stars being veterans in the league and entering their thirties, they continue to outperform many of the league's younger dominant players. Slay, regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in the league, has been a Pro-Bowler for each of his last two seasons. Bradberry on the other hand was named Second-Team All-Pro in 2022.

There are no signs of the veteran duo slowing down, and they are poised to remain an unstoppable force for the Eagles in the coming season.
